Scott Wicker, Chief Marketing Officer of Zink Imaging
In 1995, private investors and a management team bought Zink technology from Polaroid Corp., hired the researchers and developers, and founded Zink Imaging in Waltham, Mass. The company now has a patented inkless printing technique that embeds dye crystals in paper that change color when heated. Digital cameras that instantly print images using this technology will be available this year. Scott Wicker, Chief Marketing Officer of Zink Imaging, tells Digital Imaging Digest Editor Jennifer Kruger where the company plans to take this invention in today�s DIMAcast podcast.
